Architecture Control Committee (ACC)
As part of the By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation for Kure Dunes provisions are mandated for an Architectural Control Committee to help homeowners comply with Architectural Guidelines. The committee consists of at least one Board Member and several committee members to ensure the orderly and TIMELY review of requests. Requests can consist of:
- Change in Color Scheme: Roof, Siding, Doors
- Property additions and/or improvements that affect outward appearance.
- New Construction
- Landscaping and placement of plantings in reference to Kure Dunes and Kure Beach set-back requirements.
- Homeowner disputes relating to Architecture

Reporting Violations
The Architectural Control Committee and your Board Members are happy to receive notification from homeowners about issues in Kure Dunes. The range of "issues" can range from lot upkeep, trash in lots, construction debris, landscaping or construction violations, and other covenant violations not noticed by Members of the Board. The process is as follows:
- Review the Architectural Guidelines and Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws.
- eMail your specific issue including the Lot or House Address that you feel is in violation of our Covenants and Guidelines to: [email protected].
- You may also direct questions to any Board Member.
- Homeowners who violate Covenants and By-laws can be fined and may be asked to present their "case" in writing and/or at a special hearing.
